Your school’s data
Your records belong to your school. Here is how Skoolyte keeps them safe and in your hands.
Who can see what
- Each person signs in with their own account — principal, office staff, accountant, teacher
- Teachers see only their own classes and subjects
- On a school with branches, staff see only the campuses they work at
- Money actions like waiving a fee or cancelling a receipt are limited to the roles you allow
Signing in
- Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app or a code sent by email
- See every device an account is signed in on, and sign it out
- An admin can sign out any staff member’s devices, for example when someone leaves
Where your data is kept
- On Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Mumbai, the closest AWS region to Pakistan
- The database is backed up automatically every day
- Each school’s records are kept separate from every other school’s
- Connections to Skoolyte are always encrypted (HTTPS)
Connecting other systems
- Your website or other systems connect with a key that only an admin can create
- Each key can do only what you tick, and can be limited to one campus
- Keys never see CNIC, address, phone or medical details, and cannot take payments
- Revoke a key and it stops working at once
Keeping a record
- Important changes — fees, payments, student records — are logged with who made them and when
It stays yours
- Export student lists, fee records and reports to Excel or PDF at any time
- If you leave, ask us and we will give you a full copy of your school’s data
