Fees come first
For most private schools the fee office is where software saves the most time, and where a poor fit hurts the most. Ask to see these with your own fee structure:
- Monthly fees generated for the whole school at once, with vouchers printed as one PDF
- Brothers and sisters on one voucher, and one payment at the counter for the whole family
- Sibling, staff-child and custom discounts, and arrears carried forward
- A defaulter list and reminders to parents
- Bringing your existing fee register from Excel, including old arrears
It must work when the internet doesn’t
Load-shedding and weak connections are normal. Check that attendance, fee collection and marks entry keep working offline and are sent to the server when the connection comes back — and that you can see anything that failed to send.
Urdu where it matters
You may not need every screen in Urdu, but you will need Urdu names on records and Urdu question papers printed right-to-left.
Exams, results and papers
- Each teacher enters marks for their own subjects, and you can see who is done
- Your own grading scheme and pass/fail rules
- Report cards, annual results and the result gazette ready to print
- Question papers from a question bank, with board-style numbering
Your data stays yours
- Each staff member signs in with their own account and sees only what their role allows
- Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app or an email code
- Daily backups
- Export of student lists, fee records and reports to Excel or PDF at any time
Questions to ask in a demo
- Can you show my fee structure, with a family of three children, on one voucher?
- What happens if the internet goes off while we are collecting fees?
- Can we import our students and fee register from our Excel files?
- Who trains our office staff and teachers?
- What does it cost when we grow, or open a second campus?
Common questions
- Is there school management software made for Pakistani schools?
- Yes. Skoolyte is built in Pakistan for Pakistani schools: monthly fee vouchers with family payments, offline working, Urdu names and papers, and ready-made questions for KPK textbooks. It is free for schools with up to 300 students.
- Can a school with more than one branch use one account?
- Yes. All campuses are in one account with a campus switch at the top, and each staff member sees only the campuses they work at. More than one campus is part of the Professional plan.
- How long does it take to start?
- Creating the school’s account takes a couple of minutes. Classes, fees, students, staff and your fee register can then be set up or imported from Excel, and the Skoolyte team trains your staff.
