What are Audits for?

People → Audits checks your own records (register, fee register, receipt book) against what is in Skoolyte, and lists every difference. Nothing is changed. Each audit only reports what disagrees. It is useful right after moving to Skoolyte and once a term after that.

Which audits are there?

  • Roster Audit: upload a list of admission numbers (from the register, the board list or old software). Finds students missing from Skoolyte, ghosts still active in Skoolyte, and details that disagree.
  • Ghost Students: no file needed. Finds active students with no attendance, no payments and no fees who are still being billed.
  • Fee Register Audit: upload admission number and monthly fee (arrears optional). Finds under-billing, missing fee assignments and arrears that don't agree.
  • Receipt Book Audit: upload receipt number, date and amount from the manual receipt book. Finds receipts never entered, amounts that differ, and gaps in the number series.

How do I run one?

Pick the audit, press Download template if you need the layout, then drop your CSV or Excel file in. Column names are matched automatically (Adm No, admission_no and Admission Number all work). If your file covers only one class, limit the audit to that class. Otherwise everyone outside it is reported as missing. Results are grouped as critical, warning and info.
