Getting Started

Skoolyte is a school management system made for Pakistani schools. It covers students and admissions, fees and accounts, attendance, timetable, exams and report cards, staff and payroll, and messages to parents, in English and Urdu, for one campus or many. It keeps working when the internet goes down.

The Setup Wizard opens on first sign-in and covers the basics: school identity, academic levels (classes and subjects are created for you), staff, and fee rules. After that, in this order:

1. Settings → School Profile: logo, address and principal, used on every receipt and report.
2. Settings → Campuses & Branches, if you have more than one.
3. Academics → Classes / Sections / Subjects: check what the wizard made.
4. People → Employees: add or import staff, and Create Account for those who need to log in.
5. People → Students → Import: bring in your students class by class, with arrears if you have them.
6. Finance → Fee Management: fee types, class structure, then Generate Fees.
7. People → Audits: check that what you imported matches your registers.

Skoolyte support can help with any step. Use Chat → Skoolyte Support.

The dashboard is made of tiles, such as today's collection, attendance, fee progress, roll call, birthdays, upcoming events, my cash drawer and the admissions pipeline. Press Customise on the dashboard, then Add a tile, drag tiles to reorder them, or remove the ones you don't need. Press Done when finished. Each role starts with a sensible set, so teachers see their day and cashiers see their collections.

Yes. Drag menu items to put the ones you use most at the top.

The Help Center has an Urdu version (the اردو button), and student and parent names can be stored in Urdu. Question papers and report cards can be printed in Urdu, right-to-left.

• This Help Center: search at the top left.
• Chat with support: the Skoolyte Assistant answers how-to questions straight away, and the Skoolyte team takes over whenever you need a person. Free on every plan.
